I got into writing poems quite accidentally. One evening when I scribbled something on paper and read it out to my Mom... she asked me to continue this new hobby!
My poems have been inspired by incidents that I observe in day-to-day life. I'm very keen on writing lyrics for Hindi feature films. My favourite writers / poets are - late Kaifi Azmi, Gulzar, Javed Akhtar, Sudarshan Fakir and Nida Fazli.
My internet pal, Shri Borde,
who works for Microsoft in Seattle, got in touch with me through this website
and asked me to write the lyrics for a tune he had composed. The song called 'Jaane
jaana' has been appreciated by everyone who has heard it. We also have finished
two more songs called 'Sapna' and 'Mujhe Jaan Le...'
